PHOENIX -- Another windy day is on tap for Arizona. Northeasterly winds began picking up across the Valley during the morning hours and were between about 15 and 25 mph across the Valley. Strong winds were also blowing through the high country with a Wind Advisory through this evening.
The Valley is under a Red Flag Warning until 5 p.m. for a combination of strong winds and low relative humidity. It's a combination that contributes to dangerous fire conditions.
The winds will settle down a bit finally by tomorrow afternoon, but that's when the warm-up begins.
Today, look for a Valley high of 88 degrees.
Tomorrow, we'll be sunny again with a high of 91 degrees.
By this weekend, look for sunshine, calmer conditions and highs in the upper 90s.
