PHOENIX -- Arizona is in for one more day of windy weather before the winds ease up and the heat returns.
Valley winds are expected to be between 15 and 25 mph today out of the east. Blowing dust is possible. Temperature will peak near 93 degrees, which is close to average for this time of year.
The strongest winds will likely be between the morning and early afternoon hours before they ease up a bit for this evening.
For undergraduate commencement at Arizona State University tonight, look for temperatures in the 80s with breezy conditions and clear skies.
Tomorrow, winds are expected to be much lighter, but the temperatures begin to rise. High temperatures will be near 98 degrees Thursday and near 102 on Friday under mostly sunny skies.
Saturday looks to be our warmest day this week. After morning lows in the low 70s, we'll warm to about 103 degrees Saturday afternoon.
Sunday looks a bit cooler near 100 degrees, with a more substantial cool-down coming early next week.
