PHOENIX -- A strong storm system will usher in some noticeable weather changes over the next few days.

Today, a weak system moves through, bringing mid and high level clouds, a chance for light showers in the high country and possibly some virga in the Valley. Temperatures will be nearly as warm as yesterday, topping out at 88 degrees under partly sunny skies.

Tomorrow, a cold front moves through the state, generating strong winds. Blowing dust is likely with Valley winds out of the southwest at 15 to 25 mph.

A Wind Advisory is in effect tomorrow for much of Western Arizona with a Fire Weather Watch in effect for Southeastern Arizona. Rain chances are slim with Wednesday's storm. Light rain is possible in the high country and there is a ten percent chance of showers in the Valley.

Temperatures will be a bit more mild, peaking in the low 80s tomorrow and mid 70s on Thursday.

A warm-up back to the 80s is likely for a warm and dry weekend.
