PHOENIX -- It’s been a fairly windy day around Arizona on Tuesday but those winds, for the most part, weren’t as strong as Monday. We’ll continue to see the winds come down over the next day or so.
In fact, we’ll also get a couple more days of temperatures below the seasonal norms before warming up very quickly for the weekend. By next week, expect some Valley locations to return to 110-degrees.
Low pressure troughing covering much of the west will move through the area today and Wednesday, creating very windy and dry conditions. Fire weather and fire danger concerns remain high today, but will drop as winds gradually decrease Wednesday.
Below normal temperatures expected through Thursday before high pressure returns to the area. The increasing temperatures are expected to be above normal readings by the weekend.
