PHOENIX -- A wet and slow-moving storm is shaping up to move into Arizona late this week.
Today, look for increasing high clouds that will bring a party sunny afternoon in the upper 70s. Tonight's overnight lows will dip to the 50s.
Tomorrow, we'll see mostly cloudy skies and temperatures peaking in the mid 70s.
On Thursday, rain begins in the high country as a low-pressure system moves down the California coastline and parks itself off the coast of San Diego.
There's a 30 percent chance of rain in the Valley on Thursday afternoon and evening, but rain is even more likely on Friday. Thunderstorms are also possible on Friday, and rain chances continue through the weekend.
Although it won't rain the entire weekend, our weather pattern stays unsettled and cooler with highs in the 60s through early next week.
