PHOENIX -- After a warm and mild weekend, Monday will start the week off with more quiet and fairly warm weather. Look for afternoon high temperatures near 82 degrees. That's a full 10 degrees above average for this time of year.
Expect partly sunny clouds with high clouds from time to time every day this week. Afternoon highs will stay in the low 80s through mid-week with mild overnight lows in the mid 40s to mid 50s around the Valley.
On Thursday, a mainly dry storm system will pass through Arizona, bringing breezy weather to the Valley and dropping our afternoon highs to the upper 70s.
Friday will bring calm and warm weather with highs near 80 before a second, much stronger storm moves in.
On Saturday, a cold front brings a 40 percent chance of rain, along with breezy weather to the state. Look for gusty, southwesterly winds on Saturday and highs near 70 degrees. There is a continued chance of rain Saturday night and Sunday, although rain chances are Sunday are a bit lower at 20 percent.
Partly sunny skies can be expected Sunday with highs in the upper 60s.
