PHOENIX -- A big weather change is coming to Arizona. A cold front approaches today, bringing clouds and wind.
A Wind Advisory is in effect in Northern Arizona from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for strong winds that could gust up to 45 mph. Breezy conditions between 10 and 20 mph are expected in the Valley with areas of blowing dust possible this afternoon and evening.
Warm air moving into the state ahead of the front will bring afternoon temperatures near the 80 degree mark.
The cold front moves through tonight and into tomorrow, dropping temperatures and bringing rain and snow to parts of Arizona. Most of that precipitation will stay to the north and east of the Valley, but there is a slight (10 percent) chance of a passing shower in your Valley forecast tomorrow.
Look for Valley highs in the low 70s tomorrow and partly sunny skies and mid to upper 60s this weekend.
Another slight chance of rain is in the forecast again next Monday.
