PHOENIX -- After a warm Saturday, Valley residents will be treated to another afternoon spent in the low 90s on Sunday.

Mostly sunny skies will lead to above average temperatures for just one more day.  A strong storm system currently just south of Alaska will move toward the Southwest over the next few days.

Winds are expected to pick up on Monday and Tuesday, especially in the high country where Wind Advisories are likely to be issued.  The cold front arrives on Tuesday, bringing a chance of light snow in the high country and a 10 percent chance of Valley showers Tuesday and Tuesday night.

High temperatures are expected in the mid 80s Monday but drop about ten degrees Tuesday for highs in the mid 70s.

The storm moves out Wednesday for an even cooler day in the low 70s and overnight lows falling to the low 40s to low 50s around town.  Sunshine is expected on Thursday with a Halloween high of about 75 degrees, with trick-or-treating temperatures in the 60s.
