PHOENIX -- Warmer than average conditions will prevail around Arizona this weekend.
In the Valley, that means we’ll be seeing highs in the low 90s both Saturday and Sunday. Mountain temperatures will be topping out in the 70s and 80s. Spring is definitely here.
By Sunday, we expect rather blustery conditions statewide as a storm system develops to the northeast of our state. That system will import much cooler air next week, but our chances for rain look like they’re going to be limited to northern and eastern Arizona. We’ve been seeing this pattern for several weeks now.
By Wednesday in Phoenix we could actually see highs in the 70s, well below average for this time of year.
