PHOENIX -- Strong high pressure continues to bring us abundant sunshine and above average afternoon temperatures.
Clear skies and a dry air mass mean we will see nice and cool overnight lows in the mid-70s, which is about average for our lows this time of year.
On Friday, Valley residents can expect a high of 107 degrees and an overnight low tonight of 76 all under clear skies. A few weak weather disturbances sweep by to our north, weakening the ridge and dropping temperatures a bit, but we'll still stay above normal and very dry through at least the end of next week.
Look for a high of 105 degrees on Saturday and 107 degrees on Sunday.
We have an Ozone Health Watch Friday for the Valley, which means pollution levels could approach the federal health standard. Help out by driving less, refuel after dark and reduce vehicle idling. A reminder that ozone is an invisible pollutant, so the skyline won't look hazy from ozone, but it can still make it tougher to breathe.
