PHOENIX -- No big changes in the weather pattern for Arizona. That means we will continue to see temperatures above average for this time of year.
In the deserts, that translates into highs in the 90s and overnight lows in the 60s.
Early next week a storm system will drop south along the Rocky Mountains into New Mexico. As it does, we’ll see a few showers and thunderstorms in eastern Arizona and some breezy conditions.
Temperatures will also come down significantly. By Tuesday, Valley highs may only be in the upper 70s.
The storm will not bring a chance for rain around metro Phoenix and by late next week, we’ll be warming right back up.
