PHOENIX -- The first day of November will bring the start of a brief warm-up. After morning lows in the mid-40s across the Valley, look for sunshine and a high near 82 degrees this afternoon.
Saturday morning will bring low temperatures in the 40s and 50s again. A ridge of high pressure across the West will continue to build, helping temperatures to rise to the upper 80s on Saturday under mostly sunny skies.
On Sunday, an area of low pressure moves through the region, bringing highs in the low 80s, some cloud cover and a slight chance of Valley rain. In the high country, winds will be breezy.
A cold front is forecast to move through with a separate storm system on Monday, and the Valley will again be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain. This second storm will also bring much colder air. The Valley is likely to be in the 60s by the middle of next week.
