PHOENIX -- The Halloween forecast for Arizona isn't scary at all. It's warm. Temperatures will be running about 5 to 7 degrees above normal to finish out the last day of October statewide.
In metro Phoenix, we're expecting highs around 90 with temps back into the 80s by the evening hours when most of the trick-or-treaters are out. Overnight lows will be right around 60.
The ridge of high pressure that's been bringing us this unseasonably warm and dry weather is beginning to weaken and move off to the east. As it does, temperatures will moderate for the end of the week and the weekend. We'll see some clouds from time to time and afternoon breezes, mainly in northern Arizona and along the Colorado River. Even so, Valley highs will still be in the mid-80s through next weekend.
