PHOENIX -- A ridge of high pressure will keep most of Arizona warm and dry over the next few days.

Look for a Valley high of of 107 degrees this afternoon and tomorrow under mostly sunny skies.  Overnight lows will dip to the low 70s to low 80s around town.

A tiny bit of moisture begins to move into southern Arizona, but any thunderstorms would likely be confined to the southeast corner of the state. In fact, drier air quickly moves into the state from the west over the next few days.

Dry air and windy weather forecast for tomorrow has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Fire Weather Watch and Red Flag Warning for much of the high country for Friday afternoon and evening.

Over the weekend, afternoon temperatures moderate a bit, with forecast highs of 103-104 degrees under sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday.

While the monsoon officially begins on Sunday, we see no signs of any storms likely to develop that soon
