PHOENIX -- High clouds are streaming into Arizona Tuesday, making for a partly sunny day.
Afternoon highs will likely still top out near 80 degrees, and no rain is expected. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for tonight, with mild overnight lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s around the Valley.
Mostly sunny skies and mid to upper 70s are expected for Wednesday and Thursday.
On Friday, a fairly strong winter storm moves toward the Southwest, bringing rain, snow and much cooler temperatures. The Valley has a good chance of rain Friday, Friday night and Saturday before the storm moves out on Sunday.
Temperatures are likely to top out in the mid 60s Saturday and in the upper 50s Sunday.
There is a chance of snow in the high country Thursday night through Sunday, although most of the accumulating snow will fall Friday and Saturday.
