PHOENIX -- A storm system moves through Arizona Monday, bringing clouds and cooler temperatures.
In the high country, light snow has been falling in some areas since the early morning hours and they could see 1-2 inches total accumulation before the storm moves out tomorrow.
The Valley isn't likely to get more than a sprinkle or two, but temperatures will stay well below average for this time of year.
Look for mostly cloudy skies on Monday and a high of just 61 degrees. Overnight lows will drop to the mid 30s to mid 40s around town under partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry but fairly cool across the state as we see a break before the next storm moves in Thursday.
Snow is expected in the high country Thursday and Friday, with Valley rain possible starting Thursday night and throughout the day on Friday.
Temperatures will stay fairly cool this week, but a warm-up is possible next weekend.
Keep it tuned to 3TV for the latest on this storm as we get closer.
