PHOENIX -- As a storm system passes to the north of us, we’re going to see unseasonably cool temperatures to finish out the week.

Friday looks to be the coolest day with a high of only 85 expected in metro Phoenix.

After that, it will be a bit warmer for the weekend, but still pretty nice for this time of year.

October begins next Tuesday and the 30-day outlook is out.

According to the Climate Prediction Center, we can expect warmer than normal temperatures with about average rainfall.

On average, we get a bit more than half an inch of rain in October.
