PHOENIX -- The short story: warm and dry.
The details: a steady weather pattern continues over the desert southwest. As a result, we will see a continuing of the recent weather pattern with above normal temperatures and little cloud cover.
There will be some cloudiness at times and afternoon breezes, especially in the mountains. But at this point, the weather through Sunday in Arizona is forecast to be very quiet.
We are starting to see some slight changes for early next week. A backdoor cold front will push into portions of eastern Arizona, bringing us some cooler temperatures.
However, it does not look like that system will bring much moisture to our state. And in metro Phoenix, it will stay dry.
