PHOENIX -- Temperatures won’t be as hot this weekend as they were last week around the Valley.
While a ridge of high pressure remains over northern Mexico, temperatures will still be hotter than normal for this time of the year, but a series of weak disturbances brushing over the region will allow highs to fluctuate a bit.
In the Phoenix-metro area, look for an afternoon high of 105 degrees Saturday. The normal high for this time of the year is 102. Sunday morning, lows will dip to around 75. On Sunday expect a high of 106.
Temperatures in the Valley will climb back to near 110 for the start of the new week.
Excessive Heat Warnings have been issued for northwestern Arizona Monday. None have yet to be issued for the Valley.
Zero rain chances are in the forecast across the entire state this week.
