PHOENIX -- A cool and potentially wet change is in the forecast for this weekend.

An approaching cold front will bring windy weather to Arizona today, with a Wind Advisory issued for much of Northern Arizona. Gusts of up to 50 mph are possible.

In the Valley, look for breezy conditions today, with partly sunny skies and a forecast high of 67 degrees.

Rain is possible tonight and Saturday, but rainfall totals should be light. Snow is likely to start increasing across the high country today and tonight, continuing throughout the weekend. Snowfall totals are expected to range from 4 to 8 inches above 6,000 feet.

The storm will also bring very cold air, with Valley highs only in the 50s this weekend and even into early next week.  Overnight lows will fall to the 30s.

Another storm moves in late Sunday and Monday, bringing another chance at rain and snow.

The unsettled weather should end by the middle of next week with a warm-up to eventually follow.
