PHOENIX -- A weak storm system is going to move into Arizona on Thursday, and by the overnight hours Thursday, we could see a few rain showers around Phoenix. They will be few and far between. The Weather Service puts the chance for rain at 30 percent, but we think that’s much too high.
Most of the rain chances seem to be headed into southeast Arizona where some parts of the state could see up to a half inch of rain by Friday morning.
Temperature-wise, it looks like we’ll continue with highs in the 60s the rest of this week and the weekend. But the weekend right now is looking dry for metro Phoenix.
