PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- With the eruption of the Doce fire northwest of Prescott on Tuesday, the forecast is not good for the high country.

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Wednesday for much of northern and eastern Arizona, including the area of the Doce Fire. Winds in northern Arizona are expected to be southwesterly at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 45 miles an hour.

In the Valley, we’ll see some afternoon breezes, but it will stay unseasonably warm. Forecast highs for metro Phoenix through the weekend are in the 106-109 degree range.
