PHOENIX -- A weak weather system tracking to the north of Arizona is only ushering in clouds and slightly cooler temperatures for Thursday.
Any rain chances depicted by forecasting models earlier in the week are out of the picture. Meanwhile, snow is on tap for the Rockies from this system.
In Phoenix, look for an afternoon high of 69 under partly sunny skies. Thursday night, we’ll dip down to a low of 41.
As high pressure builds back into the region from the west on Friday, a flow of dry air will move in from the northwest. This will bring clearing skies and warmer temperatures heading into the weekend.
Look for the low 70s by Saturday and into Sunday. Next week, we’ll see the mid 70s under sunny skies.
The normal high temperature for this time of year is 66.
