PHOENIX -- It will be a quiet start to the new week, but a storm is targeting Arizona, with cool and wet changes to arrive just a few days from now.
Look for mostly sunny skies today, with afternoon highs in the upper 70s. Overnight lows will range from the upper 40s to upper 50s by tomorrow morning.
High clouds will stream into the state for partly sunny conditions both Tuesday and Wednesday, with mild temperatures in the mid 70s both afternoons.
On Thursday, a strong and slow moving low-pressure system moves into our region. There's a slight chance of rain on Thursday, but an increased chance for rain both Friday and Saturday.
The storm continues to bring unsettled weather on Sunday before moving out. Look for cooler temperatures with afternoon highs in the upper 60s to low 70s for Friday through the weekend.
