PHOENIX -- A light southwesterly flow aloft over the desert southwest is expected to bring a slow warming trend and sunny skies to the region through this weekend and into early next week.
Slightly cooler temperatures and an increase in afternoon breeziness -- but with continued dry conditions -- is then expected by the middle of next week as another upper low moves slowly eastward, well to our north, across the great basin.
For the weekend in metro Phoenix, we’re expecting highs in the 80s with overnight lows in the 50s and 60s. The high country will see highs in the 50s and 60s with overnight lows in the 20s and 30s.
No rain or snow is forecast for the next seven days in Arizona.
