PHOENIX -- With the passage of a cold front across the Valley, winds picked up and we saw a lot of blowing dust in the air Tuesday afternoon.
Mostly cloudy conditions added to the rather hazy look around metro Phoenix.
Peak winds reached into the low-30 mile an hour range.
In northern Arizona, peak wind gusts at Flagstaff and Williams were in the mid-50s.
Overnight, the breezes will come down and Wednesday will be a much quieter and cooler day.
Many Valley locations will see highs only in the upper-70s to near 80-degrees, quite the change from the triple digit highs we saw last weekend.
