PHOENIX -- There will be plenty of sunshine around the state this week.
After a weekend with unsettled, cooler than normal conditions, we’re going to settle into some pretty quiet weather the rest of this week across Arizona.
In the deserts, that will result in highs in the 70s for the first part of the week, then near 80 to finish off the week. By next weekend, a very weak storm system will bring us some clouds and slightly cooler temperatures. However, at this point, it looks like next weekend is going to be a dry one in our state.
In fact, a very long range forecast for Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22) in Arizona is indicating we’ll see lots of sunshine and rather seasonal temperatures.
The coldest we got in the Valley "officially" this past weekend was 44 degrees on Sunday morning.
However, many locations around metro Phoenix did drop into the upper 30s. And in the mountains, we did see single-digit low temperatures.
