PHOENIX -- Chances for rain will be on the increase across Arizona Friday through Sunday.

In metro Phoenix, the best chances for rain will begin Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday afternoon. There will also be a chance for scattered showers around the Valley Sunday afternoon.

The storm system is also expected to bring cooler temperatures.

We're looking at a drop in high temperatures from the 80s to the 60s this weekend.

Our latest forecast models are telling us to expect about .75 inch of rain in most Valley neighborhoods.

Northern parts of the Valley should see more rain than southern locations.
