PHOENIX -- Strong high pressure centered over northern Mexico will maintain above average temperatures into early next week.

Weak weather disturbances passing through the region will lead to some fluctuations in temperatures, with slight cooling late this week and slight warming early next week.

Overall, we’re looking at a pretty typical start to June, with hot and dry weather in the outlook for the next seven to 10 days. Desert highs will be in the range of 105 to 110, with overnight lows generally in the 70s.
