PHOENIX -- While fall officially started on Sept. 22 -- nearly a month ago -- it's been a touch warm here in the Valley of the Sun.
Well, you can stay goodbye to highs in the 90s for the immediate future, because daytime highs in the 80s are coming.
Plan on a high of 94 Friday, which is a bit higher than the seasonal average of 89. Starting Saturday, however, we're going to be a bit below that average with 88 on Saturday and 84 on Sunday.
Next week is looking like a range of 80-degree days with the coolest coming on Wednesday. With a forecast high of 80 even in the Valley, some surrounding areas probably won't get out of the upper 70s.
"That is officially fall," Kaley O'Kelley said.
Overnight lows look like they're going to be in the mid-60 through the weekend, dropping to the low 60s in the week ahead.
