PHOENIX -- A cold front poised to the north of Arizona will bring an increase in clouds and wind into the Valley overnight.
We already had very windy conditions in Northern Arizona on Thursday with both Springerville and White River picking up gusts of 50 mph.
As the front moves in, we’ll see scattered snow showers in the mountains of our state. That includes Flagstaff, which hasn’t seen any snow since before Christmas.
In the Valley, the cooler air will arrive by Friday. It will be a rather cloudy and blustery day with a high around 70 degrees.
For the weekend, highs will drop into the mid-60s.
It’s also beginning to look like this more winter-like weather will be hanging around for awhile. Highs in the 60s are expected through next week.
