SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- After the PGA canceled Wednesday's Pro-Am and the Shot for Glory charity event because of frozen turf at TPC Scottsdale, many are wondering what will happen with Thursday's first round play.

PGA Tour meteorologist Wade Stattner told 3TV meteorologist April Warnecke that while there will be a delay, the Waste Management Phoenix Open will go on.

"We just need to wait until the frost melts and the turf thaws out a little bit," he explained. "I don't think the Tour has ever experienced an entire day lost because of cold weather. We've  had frost delays here in the past,. This year, they're going to be a little bit more significant than they have been."
