PHOENIX -- Another strong but dry storm system is moving into the Pacific Northwest. That storm will pass mainly to the north of Arizona. But if it’s strong enough, then we’re going to see lots of wind and cooler temps associated with its passage.
Beginning Wednesday, there is a Wind Advisory out for much of northern Arizona. We’re looking for winds of 20-25 miles an hour with gusts possibly as high as 45 mph In the Valley. Wednesday will also be pretty breezy, but metro Phoenix is not in the Wind Advisory area.
Cooler temps will be headed in as well. By Friday, look for afternoon temps in the Valley to be in the mid-80s.
