PHOENIX -- The monsoon picture for on Tuesday is very complicated. We got an early start to the storms, but many of those began to fade early Tuesday afternoon.
Overnight, the Weather Service pegs the chances for Valley thunderstorms at 30 percent. Then we’ll experience a drier trend, and the number of thunderstorms statewide will be in decline through the end of the week.
That weather pattern shift will also allow temperatures to return to just above normal for this time of year. In the Valley for the rest of the week, we’re looking at highs in the 107-110 degree range.
Into next week, the weather pattern also looks fairly dry, but the monsoon can be fickle and return very quickly to Arizona.
