PHOENIX -- After several days of monsoon storms hitting the Valley, Thursday is looking to be much quieter.  The day started out mild with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s with clear skies but high humidity.

Although there's a lot of moisture in the air, humid conditions should not lead to Valley storms today.  Thunderstorms are possible in the high country for the next couple of days, but mostly clear skies are on tap for the Valley.

Drier air is slowly working into the state from the west and southwest. This will limit our storm potential in the Valley at least through the weekend. Temperatures will also warm up a bit more, especially our afternoon highs.

Today, we'll be back in the triple digits with a peak temperature of 102 degrees and we'll be close to 106 degrees by Saturday and Sunday.  Overnight lows will continue to dip to the mid 70s to mid 80s across the Valley.
