PHOENIX -- A very stable weather pattern continues to hold sway over the desert southwest.
There will be some occasional high clouds, but we’re expecting high temperatures in the low 70s over the next week with overnight lows in the 40s. Temperatures could be a bit above average for this time of year.
Our long-range models are suggesting a change in weather pattern near the end of the week. That could bring a chance for rain and snow.
This past year ended up being wetter than normal with 8.42 inches of rain, about .2 inch above average.
It was also warmer than normal by about 1 degree for the entire year.
