PHOENIX -- It looks like we're headed for a mild Mother's Day weekend in Arizona.
Warmer weather briefly returns Friday and Saturday with abundant sunshine. Look for light winds and only thin, high clouds and a high temperature of 90 on Friday.
Saturday will be a bit warmer. After morning lows in the 60s, afternoon temperatures will warm to the low to mid 90s.
On Sunday, a cold front moves through the state. Breezy weather can be expected in the Valley with windier weather up north. There's a slight chance of rain in the high country, but the deserts, including the Valley, will stay dry.
We'll see a high on Sunday of about 88 degrees.
Next week looks warm and dry with triple digits returning to the forecast by Wednesday.
