PHOENIX -- Another day of sunshine and mild temperatures is on tap for Arizona today before a weak weather system moves in this weekend.
For a fourth day in a row, the Valley is expected to top out near 71 degrees this afternoon with clear skies and lots of sunshine expected. Overnight lows should drop to the mid 40s under partly sunny skies.
Tomorrow, a weak storm system moves into Arizona bringing some cloud cover and slightly cooler temperatures. Still, the Valley is expected to stay above average for this time of year, with forecast highs near 68 both Saturday and Sunday. Partly sunny skies are forecast Saturday with clear skies on Sunday. No rain or snow is expected across Arizona.
Temperatures should be in the low to mid 60s during the Fiesta Bowl Parade, and tailgaters in Tempe will be treated to the upper 60s during the afternoon ahead of the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
High pressure builds back over the Southwest next week for warm weather to end the year. Expect highs in the low to mid 70s and abundant sunshine for much of next week.
