PHOENIX -- Yes, there were a few, light showers in northern and eastern parts of the Valley Wednesday night. They didn’t amount to much.

Late Wednesday afternoon, 3TV radar was still showing scattered rain and snow showers in eastern Arizona. Little or no accumulation has been reported so far and that’s kind of what we’re expecting Wednesday night as the showers taper off.

Wednesday was a cool and breezy day around metro Phoenix with afternoon highs around town running in the low 70s. Wednesday night, the winds will fade and by the morning it will be rather chilly.

Expect lows in the mid 40s to low 50s around metro Phoenix Thursday morning, definitely jacket or sweater weather.

Thursday our high will be in the upper 70s and we will warm up through the weekend with highs then reaching the low 90s.
