PHOENIX -- After two days of dust in the Valley, air quality should slowly improve today. Although the High Pollution Advisory from Wednesday has expired, a visible haze of dust was noticeable this morning across the Valley.
Winds blew strong through Arizona yesterday with a mainly dry cold front.
Today, another storm system sweeps by to our north, driving breezy winds again this afternoon. Winds should not be as strong as they were yesterday.
In the Valley, look for winds out of the southwest between 10 and 15 mph this afternoon. Temperatures will also be cooler, peaking only near 75 degrees this afternoon.
Lighter winds and slightly warmer temperatures are expected tomorrow. Mostly sunny skies and a high of 79 degrees can be expected for your Friday, and then mid 80s and abundant sunshine for the weekend.
Overnight lows will dip to the 50s and low 60s.
