Weak high pressure will begin to build over southern California and Arizona through the weekend.

Lighter winds are on tap for Thursday and Friday, while a warming trend develops over the region.

Occasional breezes will develop again during over the weekend.

A few thunderstorms are possible in the southeastern corner of the state Thursday and Friday, otherwise expect dry conditions across the rest of the state.

While daytime highs will be in the low 100s across the Valley Thursday afternoon, temperatures will be noticeably hotter Friday and Saturday. Highs will range from 105 to 110.

Very little change in temperatures is expected next week.

The Valley will stay rain-free for the next seven days.
