PHOENIX -- Temperatures across Arizona are set to soar over the next few days.

A ridge of high pressure is building over the Desert Southwest, which will bring dry and stable weather conditions through the weekend and into much of next week.

Look for above-average temperatures in the Valley every day after today for the next week.

Today, Valley temps will warm to normal levels for this time of year, which is about 99 degrees.  Look for sunshine today and continued clear skies tonight with overnight lows in the 70s.

Tomorrow, we'll warm to about 102 degrees, with 106 likely Saturday and 108 forecast for Sunday.  The record high for Sunday is 110 degrees.

Temperatures are forecast to fall off just a bit as we head into next week, hovering near 105 degrees through midweek.
