PHOENIX -- Cirrus clouds began streaming into Arizona early Wednesday morning, starting what looks to be a mostly cloudy day across the state. The moisture is being pulled onshore into the desert Southwest, but no rain is expected.
Dry and warm weather is expected today under mostly cloudy skies, with a forecast high temperatures of 86 degrees. That's about six degrees above average for late March in Phoenix.
Tonight, overnight lows will stay comfortable in the low 60s.
Partly sunny skies are expected Thursday with similar temperatures, and a warm-up is in store for the weekend.
With abundant sunshine, afternoon highs will peak near 90 degrees both Saturday and Easter Sunday. Temperatures Sunday morning will dip to the mid 50s and low 60s. Breezy conditions are likely Sunday as a low-pressure system passes to our north.
Behind this dry system, Valley highs will be a bit cooler in the 70s to start next week.
