PHOENIX -- The atmosphere in the West will be in transition this week, with moderating temperatures and more clouds. And by the end of the week, we’re looking at a decent chance for showers Friday, Saturday and even into Sunday.
Right now, it doesn’t look like a very cold storm so snowfall, at least to start, will be above 7,500 feet. However, we’ll have to monitor snow levels throughout the weekend.
At this point, optimistic rain estimates for the Valley are in the range of 1/2” with some areas potentially getting more. High country rainfall could top an inch.
In the meantime, look for quiet weather with highs in the 70s through Thursday.
