PHOENIX -- A major winter storm is moving out of Arizona and another one is already moving in.

Yesterday's storm brought the Valley a wintery mix of snow, graupel and hail and nearly a foot of snow in some parts of the high country. That storm is now bringing heavy snow to the Plains, while another storm is already eyeing Arizona.

Today, look for partly sunny skies and a high of only 58 degrees.  By this afternoon, there's about a 40 percent chance of rain in the Valley, including during the overnight hours, with a slight chance of thunderstorms, too.

Tomorrow, we'll warm to the low 60s under partly sunny skies, although morning lows will start out chilly in the low 30s to low 40s.

The weekend ahead brings dry and slightly warmer weather for the Valley, but another storm could bring yet a bit more snow to the high country Saturday night and Sunday.
