PHOENIX -- Tuesday featured another round of thunderstorms in northern and eastern Arizona. The strongest of the storms produced hail south of the Flagstaff area at Kachina Village. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the Flagstaff Weather Service.

Heavy rain was also reported in the Flagstaff area. As of 3:30 p.m., the storms had not impacted the area of the Yarnell Hill Fire.

In metro Phoenix, it continued to be hazy and very warm. There is a slight chance for blowing dust Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The next best chance (slight) for a dust or thunderstorm in metro Phoenix will be July 4.

In the meantime, temperatures will remain above normal for this time of year with highs in the range of 107 to 112 degrees.
