PHOENIX -- We got the first snow of the season at many locations in northern Arizona, including Flagstaff. It was a little on the early side but October snowfalls are not all that uncommon.

Here are the totals reported so far Thursday:

Williams - 5”

Jacob Lake - 5”

Parks - 5”

Grand Canyon Village - 2”

Mormon Lake - 2”

Mountainaire - 2”

Munds Park - 2”

Bellemont - 2”

Flagstaff - 1”

Around the Valley, Sky Harbor only got a trace of rain. There were a few areas that got measurable rain, including:

Lake Pleasant - .12”

Cave Creek - .08”

Gold Canyon - .08”

Buckeye - .08”

Scottsdale - .04”

The rain and snow is over and now we’re looking at a slow increase in temperatures through the weekend. Still, the weather is going to be very nice.
