PHOENIX -- Last month the 3TV Forecasters kicked-off the first of a dozen 3TV Junior Forecaster Contests, which are open to students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade from schools in Arizona.  Participants are invited to submit a video of a weather forecast along with an approval from their school's principal. (see complete contest details)

Winners will make an appearance on 3TV News where they will deliver a weather forecast with one of the 3TV Forecasters, PLUS they will win a Weather Station and Video Camera for their school along with a lifetime of classroom curriculum from WeatherBug and support from the Arizona Science Center.

Each month, a winning video will be selected by a panel of judges from the Arizona Science Center, the National Weather Service, and 3TV.   Videos will be judged on originality, creativity and public votes.  New entries can be submitted on the first day of the following month.
