PHOENIX -- A late season cold front is once again moving toward Arizona.
As it gets closer, we’ll see winds picking up Wednesday night into Thursday.
Thursday in northern Arizona we expect wind gusts up to 50 mph. That, combined with the super dry conditions, has resulted in the Weather Service issuing a Red Flag Warning for northern Arizona on Thursday as the fire danger is high.
In reality, the fire danger is going to be high across the entire state through the end of the week.
In the Valley, it’s also going to be pretty breezy (if not windy) at times on Thursday and Friday and we’re expecting temperatures in the upper 90s, which is about average for this time of year.
