PHOENIX -- A check of the radar Thursday afternoon showed numerous showers and thunderstorms across Northern Arizona, a little bit like a summer day in the middle of the monsoon.
However, the difference is the showers and storms, for the most part, aren’t producing a lot of rain and have no chance of making it out of the mountains.
In the meantime, we continue to see warmer temperatures around the Valley. As of 4 pm, metro Phoenix temperatures ranged from 82 to 88 degrees. By Friday, most Valley highs will be in the low-to-mid 90s.
Mother’s Day, Sunday, will feature lots of sunshine and highs in the upper 90s. And by next week, the triple-digit high temperatures will return.
